Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Australian Academy of Cinemagraphic Makeup’s (AACM) Online Course offering. By purchasing, accessing and using our online courses, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully as you will agree to these terms & conditions during the purchase process. AACM and the Australian Academy of Cinemagraphic Makeup are trading names of AMAB Training Services Pty Ltd ABN 21 601 280 237.

 

  • 1. Course Access and Enrollment

    Access to each online course is provided upon successful purchase through our website. Once successfully purchased, you will be considered an enrolment into the online course you have purchased, studying with AACM. Course access is granted for the duration specified on each course’s product information page. All courses are delivered fully online and you need to ensure that you have access to suitable devices such as a desktop computer, tablet or mobile phone and suitable internet connection. No physical materials or in-person instruction are provided and content can’t be downloaded. AACM’s online short courses are self-service, watch & learn and are not supported by any teachers, trainers or other support staff. You will not have the option to ask questions or receive personalised learning support. However AACM will endeavour to make your learning experience as smooth and rich as possible.

  • 2. Non-Accredited Status

    AACM’s online courses are designed for personal and professional development. However, they are not accredited and do not result in an Australian certificate or qualification. There is no unit of competency embedded and not statement of attainment is achieved. The online courses are self-serve, watch and learn with no assessment tasks and courses and content are not regulated under ASQA, TEQSA or any other Australian regulator. Completion of an AACM online course does not qualify the user for any industry licenses, certifications, or government-recognized qualifications.   • 3. User Responsibilities

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities under your account. Do not share your login details as you are responsible for your login credentaials and the activities under your credentials. Unauthorized sharing or distribution of course content is strictly prohibited. Course content, curriculum, design and brand are intellectual property of AACM.

  • 4. Payment Terms

    All online courses must be paid for in full prior to access being granted. Payments are processed securely through our website, and all major payment methods are accepted. AACM’s refund policies are outlined in section 7 below. When purchasing through one of the payment options provided during the check-out process, you agree to the terms and conditions and policies of the respective third party payment provider you are using. AACM is not taking responsibility and is not supporting payment enquires related to the third party payment providers such as Vias, Mastercard or Afterpay.

  • 5. Intellectual Property

    All course content, including videos, text, images, and downloadable materials, curriculum, design and brand are the property of AACM and are protected by intellectual property laws. Course content is provided solely for personal, non-commercial use and must not be reproduced, distributed, or used for other purposes without prior written permission from AACM. This includes using parts or all of the online course in images, videos and text across Social Media Platforms or other digital platforms.

  • 6. Technical Requirements

    To access the online courses, you will need a compatible device with internet access. AACM is not responsible for technical issues arising from inadequate devices, internet connectivity, or outdated software. AACM does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the course content, although we aim to provide a seamless learning experience. Interruptions may be caused by third parties providing the online course learning platform, your internet provider

  • 7. Refund Policy

    You are purchasing a highly discounted, self-service, watch & learn online short course. No refunds will be provided. In circumstances where online course access was never provided by AACM, a refund request can be lodged contacting AACM by email on online@aacm.edu.au. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase date. Refunds are not provided if AACM has provided you with online course access but you have not elected to proceed with login into the learning portal and consume the content. Please ensure that you monitor your SPAM and JUNK folder once you purchased a online course and ensure that emails from aacm.edu.au are whitelabled with your email provider. AACM is not taking responsibility for delays or disruption to your online course access related to emails providing you with your access details landing in SPAM or JUNK filders or being filtered by your email provider. In any case, once a online course has been accessed, refunds are no longer available.

  • 8. Limitation of Liability

    AACM does not accept any liability for loss, damage, or injury resulting from the application of the course content, directly or indirectly, including the application of any course content on yourself or models when you are practicing what you have learned. This includes the application of techniques, tools or products. AACM’s liability for any claims relating to your use of the course materials or access to the website is limited to the total amount paid for the course.

  • 9. Amendments to Terms

    AACM reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated via the website, and continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the new terms.

  • 10. Governing Law

    These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

    By purchasing an online short course and ticking the box “I have read and agreed to all Terms & Conditions of purchase and AACM’s Policies” you are accepting these Terms and Conditions and you acknowledge, agree and warrant that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and any documents or weblinks provided by during the purchase and enrolment process including any policies published under section 11. You understands that by purchasing the online course, you are entering into a binding contract of purchase with AACM. You understand and confirm that you have reliable access to a stable computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone and a reliable internet connection. You do not have any medical, physical or behavioural conditions that would prevent you from completing the course or abiding with these Terms and Conditions that it has not disclosed to AACM prior or during the purchase process.
